Mrs. Arlington Reads in Rosslyn


Mrs. Arlington is so excited for Rosslyn Reads this Thursday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  What’s Rosslyn Reads? It’s a pop-up bookstore at Central Place Plaza – 1800 N. Lynn Street.


The Rosslyn BID, Carpe Librum and the Arlington Public Library joined forces to create a one-day event that includes author readings, book signings, music, food, drinks and a pop-up shop that will offer thousands of used books, CDs, and DVDs for sale from just $1-$5 (+taxes). All proceeds go to Turning the Page, a nonprofit organization that helps ensure students receive educational resources and a high-quality public education.



10 a.m.: Opening of the event

10:15 a.m.: Preschool Storytime

11 a.m.: Coffee Talk: 20 Minute “Workout” on Managing Up: Mary Abbajay, President of Careerstone Group, LLC, and Jennifer Nycz-Connor, editor-at-large of the Washington Business Journal
