Handmade Arlington, a juried arts and crafts show returns to Swanson Middle School this Saturday, April 7, from 10AM to 4PM. This is a great opportunity to pick up gifts for Mothers’ Day and spring birthdays, or even a little something for yourself.
I’ve picked out some of my favorite preview items from the featured artists.
Spring may be here, but this is the ultimate Arlington Christmas ornament! Made of fabric by Seeing in Fabric, it’s perfectly packable, and great for those with little ones (people or cats) who like to explore the tree.
These greeting cards from Fast Snail are humorous and a way to send a little DC love to people all over the world.
This high quality drinking chocolate from Potomac Chocolate gives a sophisticated spin to your favorite childhood indulgence. And who knows? We may have more snow on the way, so keep your lodge stocked with the good stuff!
Another winner in the easy to pack category, are these bold tea towels from Naked Decor.
Ready to upgrade your vases? Add a touch of Arlington to your floral arrangements with this stunning vase from Utility Ware. Artist Laura Fall uses impressions of manhole covers to create beautiful ceramic pieces, with gorgeous results.
The show benefits the Swanson PTA. Check out the Handmade Arlington Facebook page for more details. See you there!
